Refactor simple dict.update calls

This commit refactors simple `dict.update({key: value})` calls which can
be done via `dict[key] = value` instead.

I found those cases with the [semgrep](https://semgrep.dev/) tool:

```
$ semgrep --lang python --pattern '$DICT.update({$A: ...})'
