bpo-44712: Replace "type(literal)" with corresponding builtin types (GH-27294) 
I suppose it is a remnants of very old code written when str, int, list, dict, etc
were functions and not classes.

bpo-45386: Handle strftime's ValueError graciously in xmlrpc.client (GH-28765) 
At import time, the xmlrpc.client module uses different date formats to
test strftime so it can format years with 4 digits consistently.
Depending on the underlying C library and its strftime implementation
some of these calls can result in ValueErrors, blocking the
xmlrpc.client module from being imported.

This commit changes the behavior of this bit of code to react to
ValueError exceptions, treating the format that caused them as an
non-viable option.

Replace KB unit with KiB (#4293) 
kB (*kilo* byte) unit means 1000 bytes, whereas KiB ("kibibyte")
means 1024 bytes. KB was misused: replace kB or KB with KiB when
appropriate.

Same change for MB and GB which become MiB and GiB.

Change the output of Tools/iobench/iobench.py.

Round also the size of the documentation from 5.5 MB to 5 MiB.

cae7bdb424 #3566: Clean up handling of remote server disconnects. 
This changeset does two things: introduces a new RemoteDisconnected exception
(that subclasses ConnectionResetError and BadStatusLine) so that a remote
server disconnection can be detected by client code (and provides a better
error message for debugging purposes), and ensures that the client socket is
closed if a ConnectionError happens, so that the automatic re-connection code
can work if the application handles the error and continues on.

Tests are added that confirm that a connection is re-used or not re-used
as appropriate to the various combinations of protocol version and headers.

Patch by Martin Panter, reviewed by Demian Brecht.  (Tweaked only slightly by
me.)
