6352298ac4 Refer to the return value on nameindex and friends as a string, not a byte 
string.  The code was fixed to return strings instead of bytes and to accept
either.

9e0b864ac0 Issue #1552: socket.socketpair() now returns regular socket.socket 
objects supporting the whole socket API (rather than the "raw"
_socket.socket objects).
